Statement by the Press Secretary on the Visit of President Ivan Duque Marquez of Colombia
President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will welcome President Ivan Duque Marquez and First Lady Maria Juliana Ruiz Sandoval of Colombia to the White House on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. President Trump and President Duque will build upon the strong partnership that exists between their nations in pursuit of a more prosperous, secure, and democratic Western Hemisphere. The leaders expect to discuss their commitment to pro-growth policies, combating terrorism and illicit narcotic networks, strategic partnerships in regional security, and efforts to restore democracy in Venezuela.
