Trump and Lopez Obrador Will Talk Long-Term Solution to Illegal Immigration


This afternoon, President Trump will welcome President of Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to the White House, where they will discuss “a long-term strategy to target illegal migration,” Anna Giaritelli writes in the Washington Examiner.

In addition to decreasing illegal immigration, historic cooperation between the United States and Mexico recently led to President Trump’s NAFTA-replacing United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which took effect one week ago today.
